The show features the auction of items left unclaimed from storage lockers which haven't been paid rent for the past three months. A skilled hunter for storage, Sheets decided to try his luck at the series. His son Brandon although not as experienced as his father , but possessing an impressive ability to hunt for storage, will be with his father. Darrell calls himself "The Gambler" and never shies away from taking risks when bidding. This risk-taking ability of his has made him a very astute storage hunter to reckon with. Being part of the 'Storage Wars' has brought a lot of attention to this previously unnoticed character and brought him a significant online fan base as well.
