Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered two grades when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. Also, Stone competed and won in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. In the following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone did, however, become unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to continue her career acting as a model while she was in Europe. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews at the age of 20.
