Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter after she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the season's final seasons. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter sang her debut country albums. Her album of the same name was ranked within the top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. As she ended the decade with a performance on Dancing with the Stars. It was released in 2021 as the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up by country music. Although she pursued the acting and recording professions, her debut on screen came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being at high school. Her appearances were in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she was on the show until the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. She signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" during one episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Her focus was on her musical career following that, and not resigning from acting Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. Kramer's second album, Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. It received a boost from her Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth place. Also, she scored an adult contemporary hit by singing the track Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
